Triad Music Academy offers piano lessons to students of all ability levels, starting ages 4 and up (including adults). Our instructors have professional experience performing classical, pop, rock, and musical theater and we've taught students of all ages.​

What's the #1 reason to study piano at TMA?

Our piano instructors are warm and friendly, and get to know each student and parent on a personal level. We work with each individual or parent to craft a lesson plan that fits the student’s unique needs and favorite type of music. Whether you're playing in local bands, a seven year old taking their first lesson, or a fifty year old returning to the piano after many years, our teachers will share their love for the piano and help you set goals to achieve your musical aspirations.​

 

What styles of piano do you teach?

We are predominately a classical piano studio. Select instructors also have experience performing and teaching popular styles, rock, worship music, and more.

Do I have to know how to read music or have prior experience?

No. Beginners are welcome!

What have our piano students accomplished?

TMA piano students have accomplished such feats as placing in competitions and performed on winners' recitals with the Winston-Salem Piano Teachers Association, as well as going on to study music at the prestigious Berklee College of Music. The advantage of having a large program with multiple instructors is that whether you want to play piano just for fun, or take your skills to the highest level, we have the perfect piano instructor fit for you!

​Lessons Prices:

-30 Minutes: $55.00/lesson ($39.00 teaching + $16.00 travel fee)

-45 Minutes: $74.50/lesson ($58.50 teaching + $16.00 travel fee)

-60 Minutes: $94.00/lesson ($78.00 teaching + $16.00 travel fee)

***Families with two or more consecutive lessons are only charged one travel fee per home visit.
